Angelina Jolie on Maleficent- "I was drawn to the evil"

So, Angelina, the death angel was "drawn to the evil"?  Imagine my non surprise?
After all this woman has hoodwinked ( to deceive by false appearance ) the world with her global do gooder facade.  Maleficent is, in my opinion, Angelina's inner being on display.
Noticed, I didn't call it 'soul'? Why would I? That woman doesn't have one.
Is she evil? I believe so. I don't believe she has one shred of humanity or humanitarianism anywhere in the vessel she inhabits Notice, I don't call it a body?  Humans have bodies. Evil has a vessel.  A means to spread it's evil.  Vessel- a person into whom some quality  is infused. In the case of Ms Jolie the quality is evil.
If that can be called a 'quality'?
Angelina the death angel- Maleficent

Angelina the ne'er do well has been featured at the blog on a number of occasions

Recall? Angelina Jolie goes where no humanitarian group can go.

Besides her UN "goodwill ambassador" postion, which is a public relations job.
Ms. Jolie is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. From the horse's mouth
"She was honored for her philanthropic work by joining the Council on Foreign Relations. The prestigious think tank officially approved Jolie's membership nomination." In 2007.
Isn't it curious that Turkey won't let any aid/humanitarian groups into the camps.
Covered here But they will allow Angelina Jolie to visit.
What is wrong with that picture boys and girls???
EVERYTHING!

Or? Death Angel(ina) Jolie calls for "intervention" in Syria

The angel of death in a deluge of blood and skulls

"Intervention of course meaning, bombing to smithereens. Rape. Plunder. Torture."

And Angelina, death angel, is all for 'intervention' NATO style
Who can forget?  Death Angel(ina's) role reprisal- Syrian Refugee Camp in Jordan
Death Angel(ina) Jolie,  CFR member, is at it again.

The UN "goodwill" Ambassador is repeating, her starring role in the war/killing/psycho/death destruction machine. This time she is touring 'refugee' camps in Jordan.
Previously it was Turkey. Prior to that Libya. Noticing a pattern?

And her "eyes filled with tears"....
As she listened to "horrific" tales.
As she wept over "heart breaking' accounts.
Angelina, so called Goodwill Ambassador... is one big illusion. Presented by the psychopathic elite class via their war mongering, perception managing, always fabricating and misrepresenting reality, media.
To hook, line and sinker YOU, into setting aside your humanity and supporting the inhumane, undemocratic and unjust agendas promoted by the military, industrial, media, multinational, globalist pick pocket class.
Evil comes in many forms

Angelina and her ilk have conceived of much wickedness

Syrian voting in Lebanon- Day 2- Massive turnout

After yesterday's turnout in Lebanon .....Syria. Ukraine. Election Spin? And more!
Check out Day 2!  Pay attention to the flags the Syrians are flying? - NOT the flag initially toted around by the NATO backed terrorists/ mercenaries/hired killers

Notice the language used by our NATO media? "Hundreds of Syrians" ?
Look at that image? Would you ever use the wording "hundreds of Syrians" unless you were pushing a negative anti-Syrian point of view? Western/NATO media is very anti-Syrian.

Hundreds of Syrians living in Lebanon lined up outside their embassy near Beirut on Thursday to vote ahead of their country's presidential election as expat balloting was extended for another day in the neighboring country.

Tens of thousands is the most appropriate description
Syrians who live in Lebanon gather in front of the Syrian embassy to vote in the presidential election in Yarze, east of Beirut, Lebanon, Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Thousands of supporters of Bashar Assad flocked to their embassy in Lebanon on Wednesday as expat voting started ahead of Syria's June 3 presidential election - a vote highly contentious amid the civil war but one that is widely expected to give the Syrian president a third seven-year term in office.

Flies right in the face of all the western/NATO media lying

 Yesterday.........

Syrians in Lebanon battle crowds to vote for Bashar al-Assad

Syrians desperate to vote for Bashar al-Assad tried to rush their embassy near Beirut on Wednesday, scuffling with Lebanese troops using batons and sticks to beat the crowds

Let me say it again!- Flies right in the face of all the western/NATO media lying

Syria. Ukraine. Election Spin? And more!

Yup, it 's about Syria.... and the election. Coming up in a little less then a week. Have you noticed the coverage? In the NATO media? Of course, it is all negative.  To quote the BBC "A parody of democracy"
Unlike that laughable election in the Ukraine. The one that resulted in the election of, wait for it, an oligarch!
A member/participant, beneficiary of an Oligarchy  But that was an exercise in democracy, applauded by  most western tyrannies,  particularly two of the most violent nations on the planet, US, Israel applaud Ukrainian election results.

While we are speaking of that vaunted western democracy ideal?... Some EU nations are NOT allowing Syrian expatriates the right to vote in Syria's election. Curious isn't it? Considering these same nations fell all over themselves to allow resident Ukrainians the vote?

Some European countries including France and Germany have said they will not allow Syrian expatriate voting to be held in their capitals.
Pro-regime daily Al-Watan said that is "a relatively acceptable figure, if we bear in mind the fact that France, Germany and Belgium have banned Syrian citizens" from voting, along with the United Arab Emirates.(from the digital journal article linked below)

Speaking of the impending elections in Syria- Early voting is taking place. Check out the crowds in Lebanon. Syrians, coming out en masse to vote for Bashar Assad. The NATO tyranny nations can cry wolf all they want. The Syrians are coming out to vote and they are going to vote for Assad. Which is why we are being fed a steady diet of dismissive articles. This is also the reason that so called democracies, including UAE, are not allowing Syrians to vote.
The psychos in power in the aforementioned nations know exactly which way this vote is going to go, they are attempting to impede the vote and they want to present this election in as negative a light as possible.

Thousands of Syrian nationals living in Lebanon arrive outside the Syrian Embassy in Yarze east of Beirut on May 28, 2014, before voting in the presidential elections in Syria
"There was little sign of any opposition voters in the long queues outside the mission"

Rather the voters are speaking like this?

"The lion of the Arabs," and "With our soul, with our blood, we sacrifice ourselves for you," read slogans on Assad's portraits.

"Where are the 'Friends of Syria'? If only they would come and see this picture" of thousands taking part in the election, said one young man, sitting on a bus waving the Syrian flag.
A Syrian expatriate living in Lebanon arrives to cast her ballot in her country's presidential ...
A proud Syrian flag bearer- Two stars
Syrian Ambassador Ali Abdelkarim Ali said "these elections are a response to those who had wagered on the fall of Syria. It proves that the Syrian people are attached to their land, their country and their sovereignty."

How did Lebanese military treat the Syrian refugees? Guests in their country? Who wanted nothing more then to show their support for their nation. Their home. Their land.
How else? By beating them with sticks and batons!

Lebanese troops beat Syrian voters near Beirut embassy

BEIRUT — Lebanese troops moved to subdue a crowd of frenzied Syrians who tried to storm their embassy in Beirut to vote for Syrian President Bashar Assad, using batons and sticks to push back people on Wednesday as expat balloting started ahead of Syria’s June 3 presidential election.
Tens of thousands of Assad supporters flocked to the hilltop embassy in a town southeast of the Lebanese capital to cast ballots, snarling traffic outside, keeping schoolchildren trapped in buses for hours and forcing some schools to cancel scheduled exams.
Nearby, a Syrian woman shouted at a Lebanese soldier, saying: “We are human beings like you. Why do you treat us this way?”
“With our souls, with our blood, we will sacrifice for you, Bashar,” and “Long live Syria!” chanted many in the crowd.
Mohammad Ahmad, 32, from the rebel-held northern city of Raqa, said: "I came today to elect president Assad who deserves my vote. He proved to the world that Syria is strong under his leadership."
Another lie the western media is promoting is that Bashar Assad is running unchallenged. Just another NATO media  fabrication. The NATO media is perturbed because none of the foreign 'opposition' is running. Since none of them reside in Syria and one , Jarba, is a Saudi.... I can't see why they would be running either?

But there are challengers-

Embattled Bashar Assad to face 2 challengers in Syrian presidential election held amid war

Syrian President Bashar Assad will face two other candidates in the coming June presidential election.
Assad, who is seeking a third seven-year term, will face Hassan bin Abdullah al-Nouri, a 54-year-old lawmaker from Damascus, and 43-year-old Maher Abdul-Hafiz Hajjar, a lawmaker from the northern city of Aleppo.

Psychedelic Intelligence – The C.I.A. and the Counterculture

Apologies readers the last couple of days have been very hectic. Time has not been on my side, sadly. So, I leave an interesting presentation from Jan Irvin at Gnostic Media. All the Laurel Canyon addicts will  be pleased that Dave McGowan is a participant in this presentation! Jan did previosly conduct two interviews with Dave M regarding the Laurel Canyon scene, as covered in his very awesome book- Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon

 Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon
Yes, I got myself an very nicely autographed copy of the book- Thanks Dave!  Then, another copy to read and share Note to Peter: I will write a review for Dave, but, it will be on Amazon.ca. ASAP.  Since I finished up the Weird Scenes book yesterday I can handle the review writing. Now I am  just getting started on the perfect companion book to Laurel Canyon, other then Dave's previous book  Programmed to Kill, which by the way is also great. Difficult, but great. The other perfect companion to both these books is 'The Mighty Wurlitzer" Which, as mentioned,  I am now reading Phew!
But, back to Jan's presentation-

Managed to fit it in last week- so enjoy the presentation and grab some good reads if you are so inclined!

Syria: Bending Rules- "special tribunals" and specific exemptions

It is absolutely disgusting to ponder the perception management that the NATO nations, lead by the US, will engage in to create the  belief, that they are concerned with the well being of humanity. Anywhere.
In this case, the somewhere were speaking of is Syria
Often, when reading through information it is difficult to comprehend the level of perversity involved in these twisted machinations. Nonetheless the depravity of the war mongering, life and environment destroying psychopaths is obvious for those with eyes to see...

A push to bend global rules, that is international laws and norms, in order to justify by any means, destroying Syria.

Background- France,  that pathetic disgusting little nation, attempted to push a resolution through at the UN Security Council to take Syria to the ICC.
Not the hired killers, backed by the NATO nations, those who have committed untold atrocities against Syrian civilians- The most bloodthirsty and disgusting of these hired killers hailing from the UK.

1-British jihadists are the most bloodthirsty in Syria says rebel commander as they are blamed for beheadings and crucifixions

2-Syria’s most bloodthirsty jihadists ‘are British’

France (NATO) was of course talking about Syrian government officials. That move was promptly vetoed by Russia and China

What to do? What to do?
Make peace? Call off your hired killers? Cease the weapons flow?  To sensible! Too obvious!
Why not just bend the rules! To suit the agenda. Circumvent all international laws and norms.
Why not? That thinking is something any criminal or psychopath can completely get their head around..

NYT's
Now those who demand accountability for war criminals in Syria will have to prepare other options, potentially including ones outside of the International Criminal Court.

One option could be setting up a special tribunal, which American officials have privately suggested in the past.
Like a kangaroo court! That's it!  A kangaroo court, run by the criminals. Like an insane asylum run by the inmates.Yes, that's perfect!

None of these options would be easy, legal scholars and diplomats have said. Each would face considerable diplomatic and legal hurdles
 Problems?
Syria has not signed the international treaty that created the court, which is why the court cannot start an inquiry. The US is not signatory to this treaty either. I wonder about the state of Israel?  No problem for Israel! The US is prepared to open a can of worms because they secured exemptions for their soldiers and of course, Israel!
The United States, which has not signed the treaty that created the Hague-based court, supported the draft resolution only after it secured important exemptions: namely protecting its soldiers from prosecution by the tribunal, should they ever get involved in Syria ( and you know that American soldiers are already involved....) with Security Council authorization, and ensuring that its ally Israel — which holds the Golan Heights, territory that Syria also claims — is not made vulnerable to a court investigation
Because you all know, Israel is more then knee deep in the killing spree taking place in Syria. And the request for exemption by the US makes that abundantly clear. Not that there was ever any doubt!
Isn't that just peachy!

Ukraine voters out in force? Absolutely not! -updated

The headline claims "voters out in force"
The numbers tell us otherwise- And we see these numbers in Canada and the US
They are the numbers of disillusionment, disgust, distrust and disdain for the political classes

"Turnout across the country was reported at over 38 percent after seven hours of voting"
That's right after seven hours of voting, just a smidgen over 38 percent of the population has turned out....

The Ukraine also changed the rules of the election concerning minimum turnout-

No minimum turnout is required to validate the outcome but if no candidate wins more than 50 percent, a second round run-off will be held June 15.
So if 1% of the populace vote for a candidate, it's valid

Good article- Is Ukraine ready to vote?

The answer is NO. Clearly. They aren't ready to vote. Many residents don't want to vote.
For Ukraine to have a successful election, the DECs and PECs must function effectively. PECs oversee the act of voting, from checking voter identification and distributing ballots, to physically tallying the results after the polls close. Well-trained and fully staffed polling station commissions are a crucial component of a credible election. DECs compile PEC results and adjudicate disputes; unstable staffing could make the completion of these tasks more difficult. These challenges are even more acute given instability in many of Ukraine’s regions.

DECs were initially formed on April 14 and PECs were announced on May 6. The establishment of Ukraine’s election infrastructure has been impeded in many ways. Russia’s annexation of Crimea effectively closed 12 DECs (1-10 and 224-225). For the remaining 213 DECs, personnel assignments have been unstable, with officials joining and leaving the commissions over the past few weeks.
Electoral commission personnel changes are widespread between the initial registration phase and election day. Membership on DECs has changed both inside and outside of areas embroiled in conflict.
PECs have experienced a different challenge; instead of unstable personnel, candidates have not supplied enough representatives to complete the staffing requirements. The law initially indicated that each PEC should minimally have 12 members, allocated by candidates. This minimum requirement was lowered to nine on May 6, likely due to significant challenges of finding enough willing participants.
At the deadline for PEC staffing, 191 constituencies had announced the appointment of 352,238 total staff members for their polling stations. Over 38,000 of these staff members were directly appointed by DECs rather than by the candidates. Twenty-two DECs provided no information about PEC staffing at all, and most of these districts are located in Donetsk. The map below illustrates the problem of polling station staffing.
Proportion of Ukrainian Polling Stations Staffed by District Electoral Commissions (Data: Central Electoral Commission of Ukraine; Figure: Roman Sverdan/The Monkey Cage)
Proportion of Ukrainian Polling Stations Staffed by District Electoral Commission
You can read the rest at the link from WP

This is about all the information I can find on the so called huge turnout in Ukraine

Voter turnout in presidential elections in Ukraine is now 38.53%

Kiev. Voter turnout in the presidential elections in Ukraine was 38.53% by 3 pm local time, RIA Novosti reported, citing data from the Central Electoral Commission of the Eastern European country.
The biggest voter turnout was registered in Lviv Oblast, 52.15%, and the lowest in-Kharkiv-24.05%.

Tell me how it is that the very  well attended referendums in Donetsk and Lugansk, not to forget Crimea, can be declared illegitimate by the western/nato tryannies? It does look as if the Ukraine elections, more appropriately, fits the illegitimate label...

Putin: "Who is he (Obama) to judge, seriously"

The NBC article used the word "jab". I can't be bothered with that nonsense. It actually appeared to me that Putin was quite diplomatic.

Ukraine: Chloroform deaths in Odessa? Who killed these soldiers?

I started this one yesterday, but, couldn't get it done-

The Ukrainian junta has every reason to want the Odessa massacre to just go away.  Particularly right before their so called 'election' just a few days away. So, claiming the anti coup protestors died of asphyxiation and heart damage due to chloroform inhalation would serve the coup government just fine. It would cover up and sanitize their orchestrated atrocity, to their benefit.
Yet another example of how it is we have no knowledge of real history. This fabrication will enter the official history narrative though it has nothing to do with reality, fact or truth
Here or Here Pick your poison- or in this case pick your source of bogus narrative creation

“The cause of the 32 deaths in Odessa on May 2 was asphyxiation due to an unidentified substance,” Sakal said at a news conference in Kiev today. “Chloroform was found in the debris of the Union House. Chloroform is usually used in surgery. We haven’t established why it was there.”
“There is an expert conclusion that in the garbage and ashes, where there were already around 30 investigations held on the premises; a like substance of chloroform was discovered.
Appeal to an authority

“It is used during surgeries, but how it ended up in the Professional Union Building is currently being investigated”
Being investigated? Surely in the most thorough manner too- haha. There is no reason to think this substance would be in the building and if it was that it would kill everyone who had hid in the building-
“Inhaling large amounts of the substance leads to respiratory arrest, which is what happened during the fire, in which 32 people died from an unknown substance, not extreme temperatures”
I find this entire narrative- chimerical- wildly fanciful; highly unrealistic
A digression, if I may? The first time I ever read the word "chimerical" it was used was by Vladimir Putin in reference to something, can't recall what it was, but I was smitten with the word.

If Ukraine can present a big lie story to cover up the massacre then that is what it will do.
The death by chloroform makes everything else go away. The beatings. The gun shot wounds.
The bloodshed.  The burning alive of humans. The massacre. The brutality of it all.
Because you see the fault for all that death lies with no one. It's just one of those tragedies

Who killed these soldiers?

got this from random guy-

Hello Penny! It's me random guy that posted fresh info on Odessa last time!
I have some more, from today !
Just this morning in Ukraine, nazi CIA stooges murdered army regulars who refused to conduct punishing operations on civilians , and blamed it on people's militia. All western media has backed it up.
3 videos

Ukrainian soldiers chatting with locals- but not attacking them
" But luckly friendly locals had video's of soldiers on day before (look in first video, there is even homemade pickles someone brought to them)"

Ukrainian soldiers under attack- but who did the deed?

" and they filmed their murder by helicopters (which people militia doesn't have)"

The results

As random guy points out western media is on message, which is pretty typical

Except for this from BBC?

"It is unclear who attacked the checkpoint, with one Ukrainian officer telling the BBC it was not separatists"
My response to random guy?
"Most often when NATO media reports in this manner, the attacking was done by those associated with NATO-US
and they would rather claim ignorance then report fact
just my take on that type of reporting"
Without further info who knows? Hopefully random guy will stop by with some updates
However... when we have reports of this not being anti coup protestors? I think that is worth something

Been a busy day:  China/Russia Banking/Energy deal- Cue Uighur bombing/attack!
nice to see this one linked at Red Ice Creations- thanks kindly
2nd-  Pipelines: Bulgaria testing EU Resolve

So goodnight everyone

Pipelines: Bulgaria testing EU Resolve

Continuing on with the theme of pipelines:

Most recently from yesterday, here: Russia & China make energy AND banking deal- bypassing US dollar Continuing on with this post from earlier today : China/Russia Banking/Energy deal- Cue Uighur bombing/attack! And now Bulgaria testing EU resolve

The $20 billion South Stream project is the centerpiece of Russia’s strategy of bypassing Ukraine while still remaining the principal gas supplier to the European Union.

Bulgaria’s government calls South Stream strategic and vital to securing its energy security. But as a member of the European Union Bulgaria is obliged to follow EU regulations that require third-party access on connections into the EU energy grid.

Gazprom has not requested a waiver, arguing that third-party and environmental restrictions were not applied to its Nordstream pipeline under the Baltic to Germany, which was completed two years ago. EU officials say Russia’s annexation of Crimea is a game changer that puts South Stream in a different category.
Energy specialists say if the EU hangs tough, South Stream could be delayed for many months, if not longer. For its part, the European Parliament last month passed a non-binding resolution calling for South Stream’s cancellation.

Arrayed against energy sanctions are powerful business interests in Germany, Austria and Italy that would profit from the pipeline. Even after Crimea, Austrian energy firm OMV signed an agreement with Gazprom to bring South Stream to its gas hub near the Austria-Hungary border by 2017.

Ukraine’s May 25th election is likely to be an important marker determining South Stream’s fate. The EU and the U.S. have said that if Russia interferes with the voting they will move to sectoral sanctions that likely would include oil and gas.

American officials have long urged Europe to lessen its dependence on Russian energy. Currently Russia supplies one-third of EU’s natural gas. And while Russia’s Ukraine actions have altered the strategic balance, a proposed alternative pipeline called Nabucco (Nabucco, down but now out, depending on who rules Iran? There are previous posts here on that pipeline) that would have brought Central Asian gas to Europe fell apart last year.
Russia has found willing allies for South Stream in Bulgaria and Hungary as well as non-EU member Serbia. Russia promises that South Stream will create 5,000 construction jobs in those countries, where unemployment is high. The pipeline would pass through northwestern Bulgaria, the EU’s poorest region, where the jobless rate exceeds 25%.
Russia’s intense lobbying is paying dividends. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic calls South Stream the most important foreign investment in his country. “Russian gas,” he says, “is the realization of Serbia’s energy dream.” However, as an aspiring EU member Belgrade wants to avoid conflict with Brussels.
EU Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger, who is German, has been ambivalent on the issue. He told London’s Financial Times that in light of events in Ukraine he is not inclined to grant Gazprom a waiver on South Stream. However he told Vienna’s Der Standard newspaper that the pipeline “is not a problem for me. We don’t want to block it, but it does not have priority either,” Oettinger emphasizes that South Stream merely reroutes Russian exports without bringing additional gas to Europe. Nordstream and South Stream together could handle most of the Russian gas that currently transits Ukraine.
Keep this in mind-  Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder holds a top job in that Gazprom-led consortium.

China/Russia Banking/Energy deal- Cue Uighur bombing/attack!

This is lengthy, but, worth reading or I would not have taken the better then two hours to put it together
Russia, China, Ukraine, EU, US, NATO it's all here...

Uighurs attack! Bloody car bombing on busy market

Absolutely not a surprise. In fact last night, I said to hubby something along the line of- I betcha there is going to be some sort of attack against China involving the Uighurs. This morning hubby read the news and said to me “you called it”

The area the Uighurs reside in, but do not constitute a majority in, is the very area that has seen vital energy/transportation corridors pass through it and will likely see more of that type of infrastructure being put in place- China is a large country, with a massive population and it requires these resources to function.

The province is Xinjiang- So as usual location, location, location

Letting the images do the talking. There is of course much more information regarding this vital infrastructure, but the basics should suffice.

Briefly covering the latest China market attack -What’s behind the rising violence in China’s west?

“A pair of trucks smashed through metal barriers and plowed through crowds of early morning shoppers Thursday in the far western city of Urumqi, capital of the volatile Xinjiang region, killing 31 and wounding more than 90. It was the latest and bloodiest in a rising number of increasingly bold attacks by extremists among the Turkic Muslim Uighur ethnic group”
Throwing explosive devices and a car bomb! - Businessweek leaves that out! Why?
The series of explosions hit at 7:50 a.m., with witnesses cited by Xinhua, the state news agency, saying that two “cross-country vehicles” plowed into market crowds and explosives were thrown from them.
One of the vehicles exploded in the busy morning market, ( car bomb?!)  Xinhua said, citing someone in the market who said that there had been a dozen big bangs. Saloshka, a woman who said she was about 100 paces from scene, said on her Sina Weibo account that the casualties were “elderly grandpas and grannies” at market early.
Photographs said to be from the scene showed injured people, many elderly, lying on the ground, some being dragged away by others and loaded onto tricycles or ambulances, with blood stains amid scattered vegetables and personal belongings. Others sat on stools or the ground, appearing dazed. A large fire raged in the background.
Tianshan Net said the explosions happened in the Shayibake District on North Park Street. The district is known as Saybagh in Uighur, but according to Chinese media reports is almost entirely inhabited by people of Han ethnicity. Urumqi is a segregated city segregated, with Uighur and Han mostly living apart.
I had a video here earlier? It disappeared? So here is another one

Continuing from Businessweek
“Uighurs feel marginalized as the benefits of growth and resources exploitation accrue to Han Chinese migrants who have flooded the region in recent decades. Add to that the influence of global militant Islam and the sense that Muslims elsewhere are standing up for their religion, and it creates a highly combustible mix”
Muslims 'everywhere' are standing up for their religion? Quite a statement, no? This is a veiled reference to the NATO Islamist fighters and their use of militant Islam (wahhabiism)  as justification for every atrocity they commit on behalf of the NATO global tyrannical army.
Uighers may well feel marginalized and with all the right proddings, one can easily turn a sore spot into a  festering wound
China “blames a Uighur military group known either as the East Turkistan Islamic Movement or the Turkistan Islamic Party. While Uighurs are known to be among Islamic militants hiding across the border in Pakistan's lawless northwestern region, it isn't clear whether such a group exists and is capable of organizing and carrying out violence in Xinjiang. Uighur militants occasionally turn up in propaganda videos to either praise or take credit for attacks within China. There is also a large network of activists in the Uighur diaspora who call for a peaceful struggle against the authorities. They are led by U.S.-based Rebiya Kadeer”
It isn't clear if such a group exists? -The Pakistan connection
 * Pakistani Military Says It Killed 60 Militants in Raids
The Pakistani military said it killed at least 60 militants, and injured at least 30, in aerial raids on terrorist hide-outs across the North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border early Wednesday.

Another security official said that foreign militants were the main targets of the strikes. “Pakistani militants and foreign militants from Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement were the targets,” the security official said.
Could someone tell Businessweek that indeed, the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement exists!

One must always keep in mind the early days of NATO’s Al Quada and the role of both Afghanistan & Pakistan in creating that terror fighting machine, then bring that forward to present day. It's relevant.

China/Russia and the "Power of Siberia Pipeline"

Mentioned that pipeline in yesterday's post? Russia & China make energy AND banking deal- bypassing US dollar  Russia and China being all independent like, whoa!- Conducting their own business affairs without invading or destabilizing one another. Unheard of stuff, really. We already know, or should know, that NATO has designs on both nations. We already know that both nations are not bowing to NATO edicts- We already know that the US is carrying out it’s “pivot to Asia’ so to speak

The “Power of Siberia Pipeline”

That pipeline avoids the unstable  Xinjiang area entirely- for pretty obvious reasons. Instability. It's also suggestive of the fact that Russia is intent on building, a strong nation, non balkanized by NATO nation.

One last piece regarding the significance of the Power of Siberia ...
*Russia/China Pipeline gas deal a nightmare for Ukraine and EU

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The Russia-China gas deal is a nightmare for the Ukraine and European Union, because now Russia does not need the European market to sell its gas to avoid a budget deficit.
Currently there is one complete gas pipeline that runs throughout Russia to the Chinese border – the “Siberian Power” - which Gazprom broke ground on in 2007, 3 years after Gazprom and CNPC signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2004. The pipeline stretches across Russia’s Far East (Dalini Vostok) and after extension to China, it will deliver gas near Beijing.
So it appears this pipeline has been under construction for year already... and will be completed in 2018
Gas could be delivered via Vladivostok, Russia’s eastern port city on the Sea of Japan, or through the city of Blagoveshchensk, a landlocked city in the Amur region.

However, to finish the project for 2018 delivery, Gazprom and CNPC need to come to an agreement on how to finish the proposed portion of the pipeline into China, which could cost between $22-$30 billion, according to various estimates. Russia wants China to either pay or issue a loan for the project, which has been a delaying factor in talks. (Looks like they jumped that hurdle- which was not necessarily a  price for oil hurdle or but was about this extension to avoid the Xianxang area and the inevitable Uighur attacks)

In 2009, Beijing and Moscow signed a deal that Gazprom would supply China with 30 billion cubic meters of gas a year by 2015, but via the Altai pipeline, which would deliver gas to China’s Western Xinjiang province. Russia stopped work on this project in 2013 and prioritized the “Power of Siberia” line. If and when both pipelines are activated, Russia could be pumping 68 billion cubic meters of gas annually to China without suspension in delivery for 30 years.

Russia & China make energy AND banking deal- bypassing US dollar

First we will read bit and pieces from WSJ- BBC and Reuters

Beijing and Moscow said they signed a much-anticipated contract to supply China with hundreds of billions of dollars worth of Russian natural gas following a decade of difficult talks.
The deal is not just about energy supply it is also about payment for that supply, we will get to that most important point. Read on.

Putin & Xi Jinping
China and Russia signed a long-awaited natural gas supply deal on Wednesday, securing the world's top energy user a major new source of the clean-burning fuel and opening a market to Moscow

After 10 years of negotiations, Russia's Gazprom and China's CNPC have finally signed a historic gas deal which will provide the world's fastest growing economy with the natural gas it needs to keep pace for the next 30 years
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping witnessed the deal in Shanghai between Russian state-controlled company Gazprom and (state controlled) China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC).
The deal would see Russia supply 38 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas to China each year for 30 years under a contract valued in excess of $400 billion overall.
Infrastructure investment from both sides will be more than $70 billion and will be the world's largest construction project, with Russia providing $55 billion up front and China $22 billion. This is Gazprom's biggest contract to date.

The gas will be transported along a new pipeline linking Siberian gas fields to China's main consumption centers near its coastline.
That pipeline is the "Power of Siberia" pipeline
A separate route that could deliver gas to China's western provinces and provide diversification is also in the works, according to Putin.
A memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of China Xi Jinping on the second day of Putin’s two-day state visit to Shanghai.

Last link RT covering the deal in detail

Now, let's get down to the nitty gritty, brought to us by AlJazeeraAmerica
URL tells us what the original headline was -  russia china bank deal?
 http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2014/5/20/russia-china-bankdeal.html
Did that give away too much?
Analysis: The agreement is a symbolic blow to US global financial hegemony and a signal of Russia-China rapprochement
Is it just a symbolic blow? Or is it an actual blow to US global financial hegemony?
While this deal will not bring about immediate change, in the not so distant future the deal could change much.
In a symbolic blow to U.S. global financial hegemony, Russia and China took a small step toward undercutting the domination of the U.S. dollar as the international reserve currency on Tuesday when Russia’s second biggest financial institution, VTB, signed a deal with Bank of China to bypass the dollar and pay each other in domestic currencies.
The so-called Agreement on Cooperation — signed in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is on a visit to Shanghai — could be followed by a long-awaited announcement this week of a massive natural gas deal 10 years in the making. (The gas deal was signed- see news article above)
“Our countries have done a huge job to reach a new historic landmark,” Putin said on Tuesday, making note of the $100 billion in annual trade that has been achieved between the two countries.
Demand for the dollar, which has long served as a safe and reliable reserve currency in international transactions, has allowed the U.S. to borrow almost unlimited cash and spend well beyond its means, which some economists say has afforded the United States an outsize influence on world affairs.
But the BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa — a bloc of the world’s five major emerging economies, have long sought to diminish their dependence on the dollar as a means of reshaping the world financial and geopolitical order.
In the absence of a viable alternative, however, replacing it has proven difficult.
For its part, “China sees the dominance of the dollar in international trade transactions as remnant of American global dominance, which they hope to overthrow in the years ahead. This is a small step in that direction, to reduce the primacy of the dollar in international trade,” said Michael Klare, a professor of peace and world security studies at Hampshire College.
Some have been tempted to view Tuesday's deal in the context of Putin's showdown with the West over the crisis in Ukraine.  (This deal has nothing to do with the present day crisis created in Ukraine so I believe that view can be discarded) After the U.S. and Europe imposed sanctions on Moscow for its annexation of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula, Putin may have finally come good on promised retaliation against what he views as Western hegemony in Russia's near abroad.
“Breaking the dominance of the U.S. dollar in international trade between the BRICS is something that the group has been talking about for some time,” said Chris Weafer, a founding partner of Macro-Advisory, a consultancy in Moscow. “The Ukraine crisis and the threats voiced by the U.S. administration may well provide the catalyst for that to start happening,” he added. (The deal was ten years in the making, so, Ukraine is not a catalyst. As mentioned in yesterday's post , this spin is being put forth "As if to conjure the omnipotence of western sanctions as opposed to the impotence of them")
To be sure, the Russia-China bank deal is mostly a symbolic step. Liza Ermolenko, an emerging markets economist at Capital Economics Ltd. in London, said the deal was still “a very small one, in the grand scale of things” and that it wouldn’t change Russia’s reliance on the dollar “overnight. Most of Russia’s export contracts in the oil and gas markets are still priced in dollars, she noted, and on a wider scale, replacing the dollar with the ruble is much too risky to even consider.

China gives Putin a diplomatic boost- Really?

China gives Putin a diplomatic boost  Weird headline?

Why not- "China gives Russia a diplomatic boost"?  It would seem to be more sensible to speak of two nation states bolstering one another as opposed to implying an entire nation is boosting just one individual?
It truly seems the western media is creating a cult of personality around Mr Putin.  Do you think there is an agenda surrounding this cult building promoted by western media? Of course, I do. Speaking further of agendas at play. Notice that the western media is promoting this Russia/China energy deal as a consequence of western sanction?
“A deal would give Moscow an economic and political boost at a time of Western sanctions”
As if to conjure the omnipotence of western sanctions as opposed to the impotence of them? The recent sanctions had nothing to do with this Russia/China energy deal. Those two nations have been hammering out this massive deal for approximately 10 years. Long before the sanctions game began.
“Russia has been negotiating for more than a decade on a proposed 30-year deal to supply gas to China.”
So why does the western/nato msm want it’s readers to believe otherwise? Perception, of course.
The so called western nations have forced Russia's hand... or something like that?

The Russia/China oil deal has not been signed yet.
“The two sides had yet to agree on a widely anticipated multibillion-dollar natural gas sale”

The two leaders issued some interesting joint statements:
1st, regarding Ukraine: “In a joint statement, Putin and Xi urged Ukrainians to start “broad nationwide talks” on ending their country’s crisis. Russia has been pressing for such talks and they are an element of a peace plan proposed by European mediators. The Ukrainian government has refused to invite separatist rebels in the country’s east to participate”

That should cause temper tantrums at the Whitehouse.
2nd  “The statement appealed for global rules to limit use of computer technology to hurt state sovereignty”

The WP put their spin on this statement. However, I would think this has much more to do with the social media used , as we have witnessed, in destabilization campaigns aimed at any number of nations-
Phony Kony. # Save our girls,  “I am Ukrainian” and a whole host of videos out of Syria.

WP also mentions the web controls of Russia and China, while failing to mention the web controls, spying and ISP reporting here in the alleged free democracies of the NATO tyrant union
Of course I am referring to US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia etc, You get the picture? Where freedom is an illusion reinforced by rituals. Like ‘elections’, that never really change anything.

Foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei speaks during a daily briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Beijing, China Tuesday, May 20, 2014
Related: Perhaps you noticed promptly after China disobeyed US edicts, in two instances listed below, all of a sudden 5 Chinese officers are charged with cyberspying
1st:  Did not back down regarding the oil rig that is either nowhere near, near, or in Vietnamese waters, who knows?
2nd: After China said they were going to go ahead and complete the deal with Russia
(Original url to above new item included for a very specific reason)
http://www.usnews.com/news/business/articles/2014/05/20/china-summons-us-envoy-over-cyberspying-charges
Judging by the original url to the AP story China summoned the US envoy, that reporting seems to have been removed. China announced it was suspending cooperation with the United States in a joint cybersecurity task. China also pointed out that the US is "the biggest attacker of China's cyberspace."
Undoubtedly a correct statement.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper, flanked here by Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, left, and Chinese President Hu Jintao,
Baird makes my skin crawl, yeech! But, I digress.

Canada, the US sidekick, has been on the China cyber espionage/security narrative for a while now: China/Canada relations on the cooling side of things
The prime minister's concerns today focus on the threats of cyber espionage and cyber security.
This cooling of the relationship is in stark contrast to just two years ago.
So it's obviously a concerted effort between the NATO countries

There is a tentative energy agreement between Russia and China already in place

A tentative agreement signed in March 2013 calls for Gazprom to deliver 38 billion cubic meters of gas per year beginning in 2018, with an option to increase that to 60 billion cubic meters.
The US has of course been pressuring China not to sign this most recent and substantial deal for many reasons, I'm sure. Two big reasons would be US global hegemony via NATO and of course the supremacy of the petro-dollar

What else might be at stake?

“A gas deal would mean China would be in a “de facto alliance with Russia,” said Vasily Kashin
a China expert at the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies in Moscow.

In exchange, Moscow might lift restrictions on Chinese investment in Russia and on exports of military technology, Kashin said in an email.

“In the more distant future, full military alliance cannot be excluded,” Kashin said”

“It will, however, take years for China to start playing in the Russian economy a role comparable to that of the EU,”

Resulting in..........

“After that happens, both China and Russia will be much less vulnerable to any potential Western pressure and that, of course, will affect the foreign policy of both these countries.”

In other words, the US will no longer be able to dictate to either nation. So, if you, like me, have this feeling everyday that the US is itching to start a war in order to retain top dog status, it’s likely because they are.

1st can't miss post for the day!-  The Untold Story of the Failure of the Measles vaccine

The Untold Story of the Failure of the Measles vaccine

For MotherBarbarian and all those who dare to question accepted orthodoxy
orthodoxy - a belief or orientation agreeing with conventional standards
orientation - an integrated set of attitudes and beliefs
conformism, conformity - orthodoxy in thoughts and belief

Look at this chart!  What do you see?

Measles vaccines were introduced at a time long after measles mortality rates had declined
That chart, alone, makes clear that the vaccine had zero to do with the reduction in cases of  measles and the associated mortality rates- We can see measles mortality was the highest in 1915 and by time the vaccine was introduced in 1963 the rate of death was negligible.

Lawrence Solomon-
Notice this article is from the Financial Post-  Business section- Readership- the affluent, educated class.
Not the poor. Not the impoverished. I simply can't imagine why that is- me being facetious
Several decades following the vaccine’s introduction, the measles death rate rose, largely because the vaccine made adults, expectant mothers and infants more vulnerable

This article is dated April 16/2014, it is written in response to the upswing in measles cases breaking out all over the US and Canada, in fully vaccinated persons-
On the very day Lawrence Solomon had this article published in Financial Post, coincidentally, I had posted this information- Measles outbreak traced to fully vaccinated individual

I am going to repeat the opening sentence from the LS article, urge you to look again at the chart and then ask yourself why measles mortality rates had declined so dramatically before the introduction of the vaccine?  Then why is it, presently,  measles is making a come back amongst a highly vaccinated population?
I can assure you the answer is below in this opening statement and in amongst the information LS gathered
The other important point you can take away from this information is the antivaccine crowd is not ignorant, uneducated or "conspiracy minded" as used in a derogatory fashion.

Several decades following the vaccine’s introduction, the measles death rate rose, largely because the vaccine made adults, expectant mothers and infants more vulnerable
Early in the last century, measles killed millions of people a year. Then, bit by bit in countries of the developed world, the death rate dropped, by the 1960s by 98% or more. In the U.K., it dropped by an astounding 99.96%. And then, the measles vaccine entered the market.
Did you read that? The death rates dropped by as much as 99.96 percent and then the vaccine entered the market!

After the vaccine’s introduction, the measles death rate continued to drop into the 1970s. Many scientists credit the continued decline entirely to the vaccine. Other scientists believe the vaccine played a minor role, if that, noting that most infectious diseases similarly petered out during the 20th century, including some, like scarlet fever, for which vaccines were never developed.
The credit for the century-long decline, scientists generally agree, goes to improved nutrition and improved health care, side effects of the West’s growing affluence. In the U.S., the death rate dropped by about 98%, from about 10 per 100,000 population a century ago to one fifth of one person by 1963, the year measles vaccines made their American debut. Both before and after vaccination started, victims tended to be poor.
What has changed most recently in western society? Massive increases in poverty, of course!
Poverty breeds disease. Always has. Always will.

A study in the American Journal of Public Health, “Measles mortality in the United States 1971-1975,” found the measles death rate to be almost 10 times higher among families whose median income was less than $5,000 than among families whose income exceeded a modest $10,000. Families outside metropolitan areas, who tended to have poor healthcare, had three times the death rate.
Poverty!
An earlier, landmark study in the American Journal of Epidemiology by the Center for Disease Control’s Roger Barkin found similar disturbing results of measles’ toll on the disadvantaged. Here race entered the picture because black children were disproportionately victimized, not by the measles virus per se but by poverty. A poor black child and a poor white child had the same high chance of dying from measles, but because white children rarely lived in abject poverty, measles claimed the blacks.
Measles didn’t only discriminate by income — in another study, Barkin found that children with underlying diseases were particularly vulnerable, and that the “majority of this group were physically or mentally retarded, or both.” The realization that measles was selective in whom it killed led Barkin to emphasize that vulnerable populations, rather than the general population, should be targeted for measles vaccination.
In the pre-vaccine era, when the natural measles virus infected the entire population, measles — “typically a benign childhood illness,” as Clinical Pediatrics described it — was welcomed for providing lifetime immunity, thus avoiding dangerous adult infections. In today’s vaccine era, adults have accounted for one quarter to one half of measles cases; most of them involve pneumonia, one-quarter of them hospitalization.
Fact- adults who were vaccinated, as opposed to having naturally occuring measles account for 1/4 to 1/2 the measles cases involving pneumonia

Also importantly, measles during pregnancies have risen dangerously because expectant mothers no longer have lifetime immunity. Today’s vaccinated expectant mothers are at risk because the measles vaccine wanes with time and because it often fails to protect against measles.
But, not if they would have had naturally occuring measles...
A study in Houston of 12 pregnant women and one who had just given birth, all of whom had measles, found one died, seven suffered pneumonia and seven hepatitis, four went through premature labour and one lost her child in a spontaneous abortion. A study of eight measles pregnancies in Japan found three ended in spontaneous abortions or stillbirths while four babies were born with congenital measles; two mothers endured pneumonia and one hemorrhagic shock. A Los Angeles study of 58 such pregnancies found 21 ended prematurely (three induced abortions, five spontaneous abortions and 13 preterm deliveries); 35 of the 58 mothers were hospitalized, 15 contracted pneumonia, and two died.
The danger extends to babies, whose bodies are too immature to receive measles vaccination before age one, making them entirely dependent on antibodies inherited from their mothers. In their first year out of the womb, infants suffer the highest rate of measles infections and the most lasting harm. Yet vaccinated mothers have little antibody to pass on — only about one-quarter as much as mothers protected by natural measles — leaving infants vulnerable three months after birth, according to a study last year in the Journal of Infectious Diseases. HIV-infected children, who may account for most recent measles-related child deaths, also suffer when their mothers have been vaccinated, since HIV further reduces the antibodies they inherit.
Facts such as these increased the death rate for adults and the very young, helping to reverse the decline in deaths seen in previous decades, according to a 2004 study in the Journal of Infectious Disease, authored by researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Vaccines for measles have had spotty safety records. Soon after their introduction, the Vital Statistics of the United States began recording deaths from the measles vaccine, along with deaths from other vaccines
By 1970, one of the two original measles vaccines was withdrawn in Canada and the U.S. after causing atypical measles syndrome, a harsh disease triggering high rates of pneumonia.
In 1975, the second original vaccine was withdrawn due to 103-degrees-plus fevers, among other severe side effects. Two variants of this vaccine also proved unsatisfactory. A measles vaccine then became part of the combination MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine in the 1980s, only to be withdrawn in 1990 by Canada and in 1992 by the manufacturer after reports from Canada, the U.S., Sweden and Japan blamed MMR for febrile convulsions, meningitis, deafness and deaths. A second version of MMR, now in widespread use, is believed safe by government officials.
Safety aside, vaccines repeatedly failed worldwide in the 1980s and 1990s. As described in “Measles Elimination in Canada”, a 2004 report authored by Canadian government officials and academics, “despite virtually 100% documented one-dose coverage in some regions, large outbreaks of measles involving thousands of cases persisted … Clearly, because of primary vaccine failure, Canada’s one-dose program was insufficient.”
The solution finally arrived at — adding a second dose for children — initially seemed to tame measles outbreaks. But in recent years, the new vaccination regime, too, has been failing, with widespread outbreaks again occurring, including among those who have received the recommended dose and especially among infants too young to be vaccinated, and thus unprotected because their mothers had been vaccinated. Now health experts, scrambling to find solutions, are suggesting numerous reforms, including earlier child vaccinations and second doses for adults.
What is the definition of insanity?
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Clearly, the science is not settled, making for parents a numbers game of the decision to vaccinate their children. Some parents rely on the press or health authorities to interpret the numbers. Others defy the authorities and weigh the risks in the numbers differently, in deciding what’s best for their own families. Who are these others? According to a survey in Pediatrics, unvaccinated children in the U.S. have a mother who is at least 30 years old, who has at least one college degree and whose household has an annual income of at least $75,000. In the absence of studies showing vaccinated children to be healthier than those unvaccinated, the parents in these educated households have determined that the numbers argue against vaccination.

Educated and affluent households choose to not vaccinate, generally. Drug company and representative lies aside- Sometimes the facts just have to speak for themselves
